MANAGING PRINCIPAL

Chris Turner  |  Chris is the founder and managing principal of Longbow Advisors LLC.  He brings to Longbow more than twenty-five years of commercial real estate and capital markets experience.  His career includes principal investment activities working for one of the leading global real estate investment managers to representing investment banks, private equity firms, pension funds, insurance companies, REITs, and private investors as a capital markets intermediary.  His experiences include acquisitions and dispositions, development, portfolio management, equity capitalizations and debt placements.

Prior to forming Longbow, Chris held management positions at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments and its predecessor Equitable Real Estate Investment Management, HFF, L.P., and Rockwood Real Estate Advisors, a former subsidiary of CW Capital Financial Services.  Over the course of his career, Chris has completed over $5 billion of real estate transactions involving the sale, acquisition, capitalization, development or management of more than 60 individual properties or portfolios.  He has particular expertise in office, retail, multi-family, mixed-use properties and land.

Chris graduated with a B.B.A in Finance and Real Estate from The University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.  He is a member of Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers and has held an active real estate brokers license in Georgia for more than 20 years.

Chris Seter

Chris Seter  | Chris is a senior advisor of Longbow Advisors providing insight on capital strategies, investment trends and market opportunities. He is also the managing principal of New York-based Crossbow Advisors, LLC, a real estate consultancy that works with firms looking to raise their profile in the institutional capital markets arena.   With more than twenty years of commercial real estate, private equity and capital markets experience, Chris has spent the last few years representing international pension and private equity firms looking to expand in North America. Prior to his forming Crossbow Advisors, Chris held a number of senior management positions at Fortress Investment Group, Deutsche Bank Asset Management, and Centerline Capital Group (C-III).

Before moving to New York, Chris was a Director of ABN Amro/LaSalle Bank’s loan syndication team in Chicago.  Chris has substantial multi-family property management experience from his days working at an NMHC Top-50 Manager, and has spent numerous years employed in structured finance, securitization, capital markets and investor relations roles.

Chris received an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BA from The University of Michigan, where he was a scholarship athlete on Michigan’s basketball teams from 1987-1992, including Michigan’s 1989 NCAA Championship and 1992 NCAA Semi-Finalists teams.

Dwight Plyler

SENIOR ADVISOR | REAL ESTATE

Dwight Plyler  | A senior advisor to Longbow Advisors, Dwight is a 20-year veteran of the private equity real estate industry, having specialized in acquisitions, asset management, dispositions and investing in operating companies. During his career he has been involved in the execution of more than $3 billion worth of real estate capital transactions and overseen the leasing and asset management of real estate assets valued in excess of $8 billion. In addition, he has also been involved in the financing of approximately $1.7 billion of individual assets and real estate portfolios.

Prior to Longbow, Dwight was Director in the Investment Management group at Rialto Capital, where he was responsible for loan re-structuring, acquisitions and asset management of direct and joint venture investments for Rialto’s $2 Billion opportunistic equity funds. While at Rialto, Mr. Plyler executed Rialto’s investment in more than 2.7 million SF of office investments requiring the commitment of approximately $80 million of Rialto equity. Prior to Rialto Capital, Mr. Plyler served in senior transactional and asset management roles with Jamestown Properties, Trimont Real Estate Advisors (on behalf of Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners), Morgan Stanley and its predecessor Lend Lease. He began his career in institutional real estate as an Investment Analyst with Rodamco North America.

Dwight graduated with a BBA in Management and MBA with a concentration in Finance from Mercer University. He is also a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
